Bubbles With Fins

Alli, of Knitwit's Heaven Fame, added fins to Bubbles. I have given her permission to post the pattern and am also posting it here :)

Bubbles With Fins

Materials:
One ball of cotton or acrylic yarn (variegated or solid)
size (4.5 mm) 7 US needles

Stitches Used:
K = knit
p = purl
yo = yarn over
k2tog = knit 2 together

Cast on 8 stiches
Knit 2 rows.
Bind off 2 stitches, k1, yo, knit to end.
Repeat bind off row once more.
K2, yo, knit to end of row.
Repeat till 40 stitches on the needle.

Next 2 rows: bind off 7 stitches, k1, yo, knit to end.
Knit 2 rows.
Next: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, knit to end.

Repeat this row until you have 4 stitches left.
Then k2, yo, k to end each row till there are 14 stitches on needle.
Bind off and weave in ends.
